Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AIL3 Tech, an Illinois corporation (“AIL3 Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information when you visit ail3tech.com (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with us in connection with the Site.

The short version: we collect the information you give us and basic analytics about how the Site is used, we use it to run our business and respond to you, we keep it as long as we have a business need for it, and we never sell your personal information.

This policy covers the Site. Personal information we handle while delivering escalation support services to clients (for example, data inside a client’s ticketing system) is processed under that client’s services agreement, not this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you fill out a contact or booking form, email us, request information about our services, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, business email address, phone number, company name, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect certain information about your device and your use of the Site, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and general geographic location (city/region level). This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 3.

Information from other sources. If you interact with us through a third-party platform (for example, LinkedIn or a scheduling tool), we may receive information from that platform consistent with its privacy settings and policies.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, health information, or financial account credentials) through the Site, and we ask that you not submit it through our forms.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and requests, including scheduling calls and providing information about our services;
• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
• Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and performance;
• Send you communications about our services, where permitted by law (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us);
• Maintain business records, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the security and integrity of the Site;
• Comply with legal obligations and exercise or defend legal claims.

We retain personal information for as long as we have a legitimate business need for it — for example, for as long as we are corresponding with you, evaluating or maintaining a business relationship, or as needed to satisfy legal, accounting, or record-keeping requirements — after which we delete or de-identify it.

3. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and to understand how visitors use it.

• Essential cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.
• Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics, which we use to measure traffic and usage patterns on the Site (pages visited, time on site, approximate location, and how visitors found us). Google Analytics collects this information via cookies and processes it on our behalf. You can learn how Google uses this data at google.com/policies/privacy/partners, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across the web by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, parts of the Site may not function properly.

The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; because we do not sell or share personal information (see Section 4), no additional action results from such a signal.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information — and What We Never Do

We never sell your personal information. We also do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

We disclose personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We use third-party vendors who process information on our behalf and under our instructions — for example, website hosting, analytics (Google Analytics), email, scheduling, and CRM tools. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
• Business transfers. If AIL3 Tech is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its business, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy’s commitments.

5. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Site is a business-to-business website intended for professional audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@ail3tech.com and we will delete it.

7. Your Privacy Rights (Including California Residents)

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

• Right to know / access — request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed it;
• Right to delete — request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
• Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information;
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right exists and we honor it;
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not use or disclose personal information for purposes that would trigger this right;
• Right to non-discrimination — we will never discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights. Email us at info@ail3tech.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against information we already hold (typically your name and email address), and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days for California requests, extendable once by an additional 45 days with notice). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent’s authorization.

Categories of personal information collected (CCPA notice at collection). In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, from the sources and for the purposes described in Sections 1 and 2: identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address); professional information (company name, job title); commercial information (inquiries about our services); and internet activity (browsing and interaction data on the Site). We disclose these categories only to the service providers described in Section 4. We retain each category as described in Section 2.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an updated policy takes effect constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
